How to go back in time and kill Adolf Hitler

Materials you need:

• a time machine
• a gun
• a cartridge (you just need one because you only have one chance)
• a uniform of a SS soldier

Before you start, make sure that you can answer the following questions with a YES:

• Are you sure you want to kill Adolf Hitler?
• Can you kill a person without hesitation?
• Can you run very fast?
• Do you know what Adolf Hitler looks like? (In case you do not here is a picture)

Step 1: Take the uniform of the SS soldier and get dressed.

Step 2: Open the time machine and step into it.

Step 3: Type the appropriate time (30.1.1939) and location (Berlin Brandenburg gate) into the control panel.

Step 4: On the left hand side of the control panel is a black lever. Pull the lever down.

Hint: Pull strongly as the lever tends to get stuck at some point.

Step 5: Wait for a couple of minutes.

Hint: Do not freak out if the time machine starts shaking. That is perfectly fine.

Now you should be in Berlin in the year 1939.

Step 6: Take a deep breath and stay calm.

Step 7: Load the gun.

Step 8: Get out of the time machine and get familiar with your surroundings.

Step 9: Now you have got 2 options. If you want to be as inconspicuous as possible, place yourself in the crowd. Warning: Only consider this option if you are a really good shooter!

If you want to make sure that nothing goes wrong, step onto the stage and place yourself next to Hitler.

From now on: be quick!

Step 10: Wherever you are, place your gun at Hitler’s face and shoot.

Step 11: RUN back to the time machine!

Step 12: Get in the time machine and change time and location to present.

Step 13: See step 4 and 5.

Step 14: Get out of the time machine.

Done! By now Hitler should be dead and you have “successfully” changed the course of our human’s history.
